Music and Ngoni

I like Ngoni. Ngoni the band which is mainly some two dudes, mostly because the way they sing somehow makes me laugh and cheers up. Am not yet aware if they have a PAM award or someother award because apparently am not the number one fan.

I watched the Video they made with Desire over the weekend and was very amused the whole way...of cource being in Uganda, they can be forgiven for being so monotonous and using only one scene in a group of malwa and a weirdly dressed lawyer.

Here is the Video am trying to yipe about,Pls note: It might not get any award

Between I think they are making some mob dime, the lawyer guy has turned out to be such a fatso and his face was like he'd been in some bar fight. At this rate I should try singing too...Any one know someone who can turn my croaking voice into dimes??

But seriously, someone should show that Ngoni dude where the gym is before he fails to stand up and dance in his next song

Desire as usual was being her hot self.

Cheers!!

Beautiful Women

As far back as I can remember, I've always had a great passion for collecting and keeping stuff. Not just any stuff but things that amaze and leave me in awe.

I still remember my first attempt at collecting. They were these cute little baby mice I'd got while playing in the chicken house. One look at them and I knew they had to be mine for keeps. I immediately took them away and placed them in one of my school shoes. Soon, my mum was surprised to see the interest the cat had taken in my shoes and there was no way I could explain the cotton wool neatly placed in the shoe. Long story short, I got beaten and the cat enjoyed the mice.

This did not deter me from my collection craze and over the years, I collected lots of stuff from random weird metallic objects by the roadside to bullets and grenade shells from some old battle field not very far away from where I used to live as a toddler. Actually, I still have all the old Ugandan paper currency ever used since independence tucked away somewhere in an old wallet with me but left my coin collection of world currency in the hands of my brother who is not as enthusiastic as me in keeping stuff.

By the beginning of 2008, I had a new idea for a collection. I'd collect all pictures of any beauty my eyes or hands could cross. Things rather went smoothly for me in the start because after sharing my idea with a few friends, It was an instant hit and they were more than willing to support me in this venture pouring in pictures of any girls they thought had to be included.

Each picture would have 40 seconds to impress and make it to the collection otherwise it would end up in the second look folder. Not every picture brought in made it to my B list. Pics had to be of female, 17-30 years, Ugandan, little or no make up, No photoshop-ing, and nude pics. Marital status was not an issue at all.

For example, Hot as they are, these ladies stolen from somewhere in the inter webs & shown below would not make it to my collection

Some of the pictures would come from party/club shots, flicker, Hi5 and face book, yeah whenever they are weddings and girls night's out, you are bound to get lots of free pictures of beauties at your disposal readily posted on the net whatever your lens could not get.

It's a shame that I did not make a back up of my ladies collection (+ other stuff) when I moved to New York and yet I left my laptop behind thus, can not show a sample of some of the girls that made it. However, today while looking at some old email looking for a particular mail from an old friend, I saw an attachment targeted for my beauty list and the memories flowed back. One of the pictures had Racheal K and if I recall well, she was booed out of the list in further consultations.

The spirit has come back again! Am reopening the Pearl of Africa Beauties collection. There is no hidden agenda with the relaunch just some hope that one day I can be able to share my collection of some of Uganda's finest with the world. I already have almost 5 pictures on the new B list and even though I could go through the laborious process of combing through thousands of pictures on face book & my space (read the privacy policies) looking for outstanding comments, It would create some kinda bias so I'd appreciate to get some help from the blog sphere community.

So when you see that photo that deserves recognition and would do the world an injustice not to be in the B collection, holla at a brother. If you happen to be the type to walk around with a lens, make sure to get a shot if you see an aww aww.

I did get some more inspiration from this 640pixels site as I was waling through the inter webs. Brothers and some sister's would appreciate these portraits

Weekend Moods?

This Thursday was the graduation ceremony for the internship I recently completed. I must confess that generally, going for graduation ceremonies to me is like being told to dig and plant potatoes from dawn till dusk.

I've been to a few grad ceremonies and I often wonder what the point of sitting through the entire ordeal is. Not that am condemning them all entirely but why would there be need for a graduation ceremony for someone completing Nursery and Primary school.

Back to mine, although I was a bit late , It was good to see my peers and say final byes and best luck wishes. It was a bit shocking that I had to wait such a long time for my mum and sister to get ready. The event was at Midday and by 11 they had still not got their act together. I was done in less than 10 minutes. The big question for me is WHY DO LADIES TAKE A HUMONGOUS AMOUNT OF TIME GETTING READY FOR OCCASIONS?

There is nothing much to write about the ceremony. Saying that I enjoyed it would be an absolute lie. I did take some pictures but I liked this most....

Yay!!! that's me with the mountain dew can, but what I liked about this is that sculpture piece...I do like Art.

It's Friday!! and although this whole week has been like a weekend for me, am glad I can finally focus, pop the corn and settle down to complete some movies have waited patiently. In case you're wondering, this will be my movie marathon
  • Gothic
  • Eagle Eye
  • Hannibal
  • Hannibal Rising
  • Babylon A.D
  • City of Ember
  • Tropic Thunder
  • Perfume - The Story of a Murderer
  • 18Year Old Virgin
  • Igor
I still miss one movie to complete the list any recommendation?

What y'all be up to?

Great Weekend!!

PG 13! Say What, Say What

I recently upgraded my o.s to 64bit Vista Ultimate, threw in an anti virus internet suite that is agreed by many to be one of the best and activated the parental control

I was very amused and surprised when I could not open one of my favorite blogs and her story is here. This is evidence that she sure deserves an award for the sexiest Ugandan blog if it's content could make the internet security software horny.

The real story
Apparently, Kaspersky did a quick heuristic analysis of all the posts in the blog and thought that the materials contained might not be conducive for the young ones and further exposure to the contents may lead to premarital babies and as such should be rated and blocked.

What else it reported I will not write down to avoid my blog getting in bad books but all those sexy pictures, virgins and baby father's are some of the 65% unsuitable content on Cheri's blog.

This was very funny and I had a good laugh but I had to kill off the parental control even though it was at the lowest of levels.

I love the blogs unrated withall the pornographic and erotic material so keep em coming.

The Scribbler Award!!

I interrupt regular posting to bring a special announcement, In the short span of my blogging, I have received a award "THE SUPERIOR SCRIBBLER AWARD"

This award was presented to me by blogger Kinshar of Kinshar's world. I do not remember how I stumbled onto her blog but all I can say is once I found it, I always found myself going back for more. I find her to be a rather strong, fun and open minded woman who does not sugar coat stuff when she gets down to do her thing with her blog. Am honored that she gave me the award. Thanks Kinshar!

Now that I have the award, it gives me chance to also have some power and authority to give it out as I please Hahahah(evil laugh). However, just like any other awards, I am bound by the rules that are attached with the giving out process. The rules are rather short and straight forward.

Rules:
  • Each Superior Scribbler must in turn pass The Award on to 5(five) most-deserving bloggy Friends.
  • Each Superior Scribbler must link to the author & the name of the blog from whom he/she has received The Award.
  • Each Superior Scribbler must display The Award on his/her blog, and link to this Post, which explains The Award.
  • Each Blogger who wins The Superior Scribbler Award must visit this post and add his/her name to the Mr. Linky List. That way, we'll be able to keep up-to-date on everyone who receives This Prestigious Honor!
I must admit it was a really hard call to come up with only five out of the many bloggers and blogs that I had to choose from but somehow it had to be done and without further delay, I present The scribbler award to

Miss Cheri, of "Sugar & Spice"
She was typically my first choice because when I did start on my blog, she was there and such a big encouragement and help. Reading her blog made me more connected and aware of the surroundings around me and I realised how vital it was to share & spread the blog love. I did think she was the blog queen at a certain point but this was confirmed when I realised I was one of her subjects and always getting back to hers. Hail the blogrean Queen!!

Princess, of "Seamless"
I had to include her because being my neighbor, I might get water splashed in my face for not mentioning her. No seriously the reason she's on my list is because of her writing, which I find so captivating and always makes interesting reading. Writing from a college view point even makes her blog more appealing.

Nevender of "Bloom"
This dude just had to be on my list purely because I found his thoughts and blog rather real and connecting mostly talking with a religious affliction. He seams to be one you'd easily get along with and does always compete for socks with me.

Ivan of "Edge(EOI)"
I've heard stories that he's among the grandpa's of blogging in Uganda. Sure enough I could easily believe this because he has such a wide network of blogger pals. I credit him for introducing me to more of Ugandan blogs/bloggers when he talked about the Blogsville which typically has a list of most of the other bloggers and in this way, I was able to connect and widen my network. Also I can easily Identify with most of his musings.

Lulu of "Where beauty Lies"
She's good, very good. I found her blog rather easy to navigate through and her free style of writing was unique. Of course she throws in the occassional poems once in a while which I always find deep.

Lastly, Oh!!!! Am out of awards but there are some still out there whom I belive also deserve the award. Antipop, B2B, S.K, Robyn, Tandra, Eddsla, Channel, Weak dudes and Ug gal to mention but a few, you'll really made giving out the award difficult but I still gots the love for you.....Besides, there is always next month so keep the spirit flowing

A big thanks to all for attending this month's awards have a great day all!!
