Am Well!

They say, the seconds before you die, your whole life flashes in front of you. well a least that's how most books and movies put it.

The past few hours on my sick bed were filled with memories of my childhood and and sometimes a dark cloud seamed to hover over me, I would then quickly open my eyes expecting to see a dark hooded figure with a rather long shiny sickle except he was not going to harvest any grain crop.

This figure was always not there and this would make me calm again. Yes you see I believe that the grim reaper really does exist and when I told my sister about my bad dreams/hallucinations she mentioned that it was just the pain mixing up my cerebrum and making me experience what most people would call near death experiences and thinking about it, I've had quite a number of them.

Am also a firm believer in self healing and allowing the body regenerate itself and fight off any infection so despite all the pleas and begging from close ones about going to the hospital for treatment, my inner self refused and only accepted to take a couple of advil's and take solitude in my room and meditate/pray.

Well I did get up on Tuesday feeling perfectly normal. Whatever was bothering me is completely gone and seams for a long time. I did not have to go see any Doctor and am glad I stood my ground. Although it feels like a month, it's only for 72 hours that I felt really sick.

If you believe in yourself and trust God then He'll always be there to see you through the hard times and I give him credit for making me well again.

Thanks for all the prayers and encouragement...and yes no worries I'll still proberbly be going for a full physical some time soon just to make sure am still in good shape.

For the moment am taking regular exercise and rest more seriously.

Death Note Marathon...

I Love Manga, The passion started with Samurai X, which was shown on the then Sanyu TV station. Kenshi's moves made me appreciate manga more and this has grown with the passing years.

Back to now. The weekend being an idle one for me since no plans to leave the house where made, meant that this was chance to catch up with my favorite manga and death note was an ideal choice.

Death Note is a Japanese manga series. The series is about Light Yagami, an extremely intelligent young man who resents the crime and corruption in the world. His life undergoes a drastic change when he discovers a mysterious notebook, known as the "Death Note", lying on the ground. The Death Note's instructions claim that if a human's name is written within it, that person shall die. Light is initially skeptical of the notebook's authenticity, but after experimenting with it, Light realizes that the Death Note is real. After meeting with the previous owner of the Death Note, a shinigami named Ryuk, Light seeks to become "the God of the New World" by passing his judgment on those he deems to be evil or who get in his way.

Soon, the number of inexplicable deaths of reported criminals catches the attention of the International Police Organization and a mysterious detective known only as "L" the world's top-rated detective. L has great powers of deduction and insight and quickly learns that the serial killer, dubbed by the public as "Kira" (derived from the Japanese pronunciation of the word "killer"), is located in Japan. L also concludes that Kira can kill people without laying a finger on them.

Written rules
  • The human whose name is written in this note shall die.
  • This note will not take effect unless the writer has the subject's face in their mind when writing his/her name. Therefore, people sharing the same name will not be affected.
  • If the cause of death is written within 40 seconds of writing the subject's name, it will happen.
  • If the cause of death is not specified, the subject will simply die of a heart attack.
  • After writing the cause of death, the details of the death should be written in the next 6 minutes and 40 seconds.
Soon, Light realizes that L will be his greatest nemesis, and a game of psychological cat and mouse between the two begins pulling all kinds of wit and trickery.

It took almost the whole weekend to final finish the whole series and in my opinion, I think it's much better than the new prison break and i'd recommend it for any one reading this post.
